Our Name ‘Nyamukara’ – is a Venda word meaning “Heroine – Inspirational Innovator.”

Nyamukara Empowerment is a black women owned, registered South African non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering women youth and persons with disabilities through skills development, economic inclusion, digital literacy and community-based support programmes. Our work focuses on creating sustainable pathways to dignity, employment, and entrepreneurship for vulnerable women and survivors of gender-based violence
